How To Calculation On Command Prompt
18:22 |
Calculation on command Prompt ! u knew dis???
The command processor CMD.EXE comes with a mini-calculator that can perform simple arithmetic on 32-bit signed integers:C:\>set /a 2+2
4
C:\>set /a 2*(9/2)
8
C:\>set /a (2*9)/2
9
C:\>set /a "31>>2"
7
Note that we had to quote the shift operator since it would otherwise be misinterpreted as a "redirect stdout and append" operator.
For more information, type set /? at the command prompt.

How To Create My Computer Folders Features
18:20 |
Today, I will tell you a small trick to Create My Computer ,Recyclebin,Control Panel
Step 2: You just need to Right-Click on that folder and use the Rename option.
Step 3: Now while renaming, just suffix[add at the end] the following codes to the name of the folder depending on your preferred result location:
My Computer:- Akash .{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}
Recycle Bin:- Padhiyar.{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}
Control Panel:- Aadil.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}
Internet Explorer:- Keshwani.{871C5380-42A0-1069-A2EA-08002B30309D}
Step 4: Now after renaming, Refresh the page.
You can see that the Icon of the Folder has Changes to Recycle Bin or My Computer.
When you click on it, you will directly go to Recycle Bin or My Computer rather than entering inside the Folder.
Enjoy.....
How To Create No one can create "Con" Folder
18:18 |
An Indian discovered that nobody can create a FOLDER anywhere on the computer which can be named as "CON". This is something pretty cool...and unbelievable... At Microsoft the whole Team, couldn't answer why this happened!
TRY IT NOW ,IT WILL NOT CREATE " CON " FOLDER
Folders with name:
CON, PRN, AUX, CLOCK$, NUL, COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, COM5, COM6, COM7, COM8, COM9, LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, LPT4, LPT5, LPT6, LPT7, LPT8, & LPT9
cant be created using Windows Explorer or Command Prompt directly! ( Try this out.. right click on your desktop and try creating folder named "con"it changes back to "ew Folder" )
CON(Console) - The display monitor
PRN - Default value is LPT1
LPT1-LPT3(Printer Port)
AUX - Serial port 1 (COM1)
COM1-COM4
NUL
This is prevented as XP terms these folders as SYSTEM Folder Names reserved only for the Operating System.. But there is a backdoor...(this trick is to create system folders on XP through command prompt )
Try this: CREATION Syntax:md \\.\\$path
Example:prompt>md \\.\\C:\con
Explanation: This would create a folder named "con" on your "C Drive"
Similarly to delete such folder:
DELETION
Syntax:rd/s \\.\\$path
Example:prompt>rd/s \\.\\C:\con
Explanation: This would remove the folder named "con"!
Note: rd(Remove Directory) command is used with "/s" switch as otherwise it would give error that "folder is not empty"!

2. In the “Computer Management” Window that appears, browse to “Local user Groups >> users”
3. After this right click on Administrator and Click Properties.
4. In the properties Windows , untick “Account is disabled” and click apply.
5. That’s it. Your Administrator account is now enabled. When you log off after this, you will find “administrator” account along with your regular account.

Recover Text From Corrupt MS Office And Open Office Files
How often we end up losing data while working with MS Office and Open Office when they get corrupted in between work when something crashes or something odd happens corrupting the files you are working on. If you are lucky, you get the file back recovered by auto save feature of MS Office and Open Office . Often, we would like at least get the text if not the whole file. Corrupt office2txt is such a application which can help in that.
Developers Description
Corrupt office2txt is a small utility designed to enable you to extract the text even from damaged or corrupted Microsoft Office and Open Office files 2.X and 3.X files. It can process files with the extensions .doc, docx, xls, xlsx, ppt, pptx, odt, ods and odp as well as possibly the template and macro variants of these extensions such as dot, xlt and pps if they are changed to the correct corresponding extensions mentioned.
It may succeed at doing so where MS Office Open Office itself fails to salvage text. It can also attempt to recover formatting in the form of a full Open Office file with a regular, odt, ods or odp extension. At this time unfortunately there is no facility for recovering anything but basic formatting for MS Office files through the previously mentioned text extractions. This program can be used as a viewer of text within healthy MS Office and Open Office files without having Open Office installed.
Its a nice free tool which can be helpful in critical situation. Its standalone application which u can store in a folder or carry in your portable drive. Give it a try and share your feedback.
